Melissa Wilson is a freelance writer/editor/Girl Friday based in Toronto. Her likes include municipal politics, cats and vinyl records. Her dislikes include raisins and serial commas. She knows how to properly use a semi-colon, and can destroy copy errors with a single bound. She enjoys tackling random topics and finding out how things work, and has written on topics ranging from magicians to water mains to flu shots. Melissa has worked with This Magazine, Spacing, OpenFile, the Toronto Star, J-Source and the Ryerson Review of Journalism, among others.
